Day Eleven

Today was simple enough. Breakfast was honey on multigrain bread. Surprisingly I am getting used to the weird breads. There was a yogurt to go with it but after a bite I threw it.

Lunch was something I have been waiting for, Bolognese Potato Bake. It was amazing. I will differently try and make this myself just so I can have my home style sauce.

I finished today with lamb shanks. The meat was beautiful, and so was the sauce. The mash potato had some sort of herbs in it, which made it delicious.

Day Ten

Since yesterday I crashed my diet bad, today is my start over. Breakfast was pickets with strawberry compote. The compote was overly strong and I could not eat eat it. I used the sauce around it as a jam.

Lunch was a chicken salad. Nothing wrong with it, just a little sad.

Dinner was the spaghetti. It was good, had to put it in for a little longer in the microwave. Today I did drink way to much soft drink. But I didn't eat any of the chocolate that is floating around the house.

Day Eight

First day of the new week and I think it went alright. Breakfast was amazing, egg benedict. The egg was cooked up last night and I just assembled it all together at work and drizzled the sauce on top.

Had my orange as morning tea and the pretzels, almonds and peanuts later on. The packet was good, I am not a fan of almonds but the pretzels were nice. Lunch was a chicken and mayo roll. I think it came with tomato but I left that at home. The chicken was beautiful, I heated up the bread a little and put a little of the sauce on and all good.

Side note, I am a big hunger games fan so I had to see the movie today. But just treated myself with a soft drink and a small popcorn (which my sister ate mostly). Then dinner was the roast chicken and veggies again.

Need to remind myself that it doesn't matter how many hours it's been or how long till I get to leave. When I am hungry I need to eat and not rush later.

Day Seven

So many factors played a part in today that I don't know where to start. For breakfast I had the strawberry crunch yogurt. It was edible but still had that taste. I slowly ate it and then 2 hours later realized I was still slowly eating it and threw it away. It was pretty busy this morning so I don't know if I just wasn't hungry or just not in the mood for yogurt.

Lunch was tomato, mustard, beef sandwich. And since I am boycotting tomatos it turn out to be a lonely sandwich. My snack today was the liteneasy chocolate cake, which smelt amazing and was ok to eat. Just don't expect some amazing chocolate cake, it is a diet place after all.

Then a storm hit my home and all public transport was closed. So I had to drive an hour to get my brother from uni, then an hour in the other direction to get my sister from work. Time I got home, I went straight to get, so no dinner.

Did quickly put my next week food away and it was still cold at 9pm at night. And it's kinda like Christmas looking in the bags to see what you get to eat this week.

Day Six

Today was pretty simple. Started off with a plum jam toast slice. It was how a jam toast slice is suppose to taste like. A tad sad there was only one piece, was still hungry after eating.

Morning snack was a yogurt, and we 'll know what that tastes like. Also had a cinnamon bar which reminded me of a ANZAC biscuit. It was nice and although it looked like there was giant pieces of nuts through it, it was soft. It was a happy experience.

Lunch was the Spaghetti Bolognese. Its weird but I found it tasting peculiar to began with but as it cooled down it was really nice. I wouldn't eat it everyday but maybe once every two weeks.

Dinner I decided on 31 Special Lasagne. For some reason (either the dish or my microwave) it took an extra 3 minutes to make sure the lasagne was heated all the way through. The dish was alright and I will order it again. The veggies were beautiful, soft and full of flavour. The lasagne didn't look appetizing but it was like other frozen lasagnes and was creamy but lacked that chucky tomato layer some people like (which I don't, so another reason to like it).

Tomorrow is the last day for the week and I am really nerves about my weigh in. Today I nearly drove in to Macs for a double beef and bacon meal with a $1 frozen coke and chocolate waffle cone, but I didn't and that proves to myself that I can do this. But I think my self conscious now thinks I can eat it tomorrow because I was good today.

Picked my dishes for next week and there was a few tough choices. Sadly it wasn't deciding on which two amazing dishes I wanted to try but which I could mostly eat. A practical breakfast, not cereal or eggs benedict or another tomato and cheese toasty. I leave for work at 4am and don't have time to make something beforehand. O well, tomorrow is another day.

Day Five

Yes this time I really did it. I am starting to think that is not as easy as they state on tv. Breakfast was pretty much the same, ham and egg on toast. The scrambled egg I made last night was a good idea. I am slowly getting used of the different types of weird bread. The picture / eggs look bad but that's just my saucepan.

Lunch was suppose to be the chicken wrap, but work got out of hand and I was unable to eat. But I did eat the Rice crackers, which like the other mini packet was surprisingly tasty.

161 Crumbed Chicken Breast & Wedges was afternoon lunch / dinner. It was nice. The potatoes had a weird after taste to them, but besides that they were good. The chicken was beautiful and the veggies were good.

Day Four

I (basically) did it!!! I ate the whole days plan. Didn't eat anything extra. Feel pretty proud at the moment. I wanted to snack several times throughout the day but distracted myself with a phone game or movie. And the basically part is that I still had soft drink today, think that habit is going to take a while to break.

Breakfast was kinda the same; ham, cheese and tomato toastie (minus the tomato, really over it). Photo looks like corn, but its just cheese.

Lunch was a chicken risotto. It was nice, way too much mushrooms for my likes but the two sides there a fruit cup and vanilla yogurt. The yogurt is again not not. Looking on their Facebook site they have recently changed the recipe, wish they would change it back.

183 Chicken Parmigiana was dinner. It was amazing. I could not expect anything better for a frozen meal. The chicken was moist, the sauce was nice and the veggies were all good.  It looked amazing then I flipped it by accident, so photo is not the best.

EDIT. I destroyed my day with dessert. Ate a whole row of chocolate ripple cookies. Damn!!!! Only went up to the kitchen for a drink and I came back down with a packet of cookies.

Now to scramble up the egg for tomorrow morning.

Day Three

Today started on a high. Breakfast was nice, Fruity Almond Crunch with skim milk. Note to self to poor the milk it and stop when I want. I found the 250ml to actually be way to much for the dish.

Lunch was ham and cheese on a roll. There was tomato ad well, but I believe that there is way to much tomato in the meals. Any sandwich, roll or toast all have a full tomato to go with it. But just the ham and cheese roll was not much in the lunch aspect.

One of the snacks was corn chips with Some sort of salt. They were quite nice, glady eat them again. But the breakfast snack (passionfruit yogurt) was the opposite. It was edible but left a not pleasant taste in your mouth.

Finally dinner tonight was 82 Beef Korma. It was fine. The meat was nice, the cauliflower in the rice was surprising but ok. It was just spicy for my taste buds. I still might get it again, but I need a drink to go with it. Below is a picture.

Today went on track till after dinner. My sister made cookies and I ate three. Still have no self control, but at least today I ate all my meals.

All it takes is one step in the right direction to make a difference.

Day Two

Man I hate losing twice in two days. The day was off to a great start. Bacon and eggs on toast. Was a tad shocked to see a whole egg in my bag today, and would have been real sad if it wasn't a public holiday and I was at work. So note to self egg only on the weekend.

But the meal was really nice. It came with an apple I ate a few hours later. Got peckish just before lunch and decided to eat my noodle snack. NEVER AGAIN. I don't do anything spicy. I can't even eat the classic chicken (chicken fillet) at subway, if I do my lips go bright red. Well these noodle snacks were spicy and some had a weird taste to them.

Then lunch was the apple coleslaw.... Yeah....no. I had one mouthful and gave up. I know everyone has different likes and dislikes so many people will like it. So I had my dinner instead.

86 Rigatoni and it was beautiful. I mashed up the meatballs and mixed it with the penne and sauce. For actual dinner we had a family dinner. So in that sense I failed again.

I am finding it hard to stick to the menu, and my constent need to snack. Please give me the power to try and do the program.

Day One

In one word... Fail.

Some may call me stupid but it wasn't till this morning that I realized how much I hate tomato on a sandwich. Which was bad luck for me cause both breakfast and lunch had it.

Don't get me wrong breakfast was nice (photo below) and I ate the apple while doing odd jobs around the office. Lunch was ok, apart from the second dose of tomato the beef was nice. I am not a fan of chunky so I didn't use it. But the afternoon snack of popcorn was amazing. You will not believe that it is liteneasy brand popcorn. I ended up sharing around to the ladies in the office and all agreed with me.

Dinner sadly didn't happen. The work day went late and I ended up eating at trivia. So let's try again tomorrow, maybe this time I can stick it

The Arrival

Half way through work today got a phone call from my sister "it's arrived!!!" I swear she is more excited about it then I am. It was just at the front door when she woke up. When I got home at 4pm it was all put away but surprisingly the dry ice in the box was still nice and cold.

Having ice still in the box was a main concern for me and I was glad to see that it might be ok outside during a Queensland, Australia summer.

So the first thing I did was jump on the mobile site to see what I get to eat tomorrow and it is different. The mobile site doesn't keep track of the right days. I had to go back to my original confirmation email to see what I get to eat tomorrow.

And I think I was on such a high that it was quite the reality check when my breakfast day 1 bag had a tomato, a green Apple and a small packet of cheese. There was also grain bread that went in the freezer.

It is what I ordered for the first day. Toasted cheese and tomato sandwich, but for some reason I was expecting different. Maybe that's just me in lala land. But I am still excited for tomorrow.

Goal is to stick to the meals and have one can of soft drink a week (Thursday night trivia) and maybe a small slice of cake (Thursday is cake day at work). We also have Fry-day and Crummy Tuesday so this is going to be quite the challenge but bring on week one.

I literally will be starting it tomorrow :)

The Menu

So today was my deadline to get my order in for tomorrow. They currently have a "order before 11am and get your order tomorrow" which is nice and different to a lot of places which need a minimum of 48 hours.

I completed the mini survey that informs you which calorie plan is best for your current hight, weight and exercise. I was given the 1500 calories plan but chose the 1200 plan to see if it will be enough.

Currently I don't exercise and really need to lose weight. If I get hungry I will increase the plan but for now I don't see the point. Both plans looked the same and can be seen on their website.

Back to topic. The menu!!! It sounds really nice. For breakfast and lunch there was two dishes you can choose from. I am personally not a fan of weird things. So I could decide not to have the chicken with an Apple coleslaw and go with a ham and tomato grain role with.

For dinner there is a large selection and you just decide what you want. If you are doing the 5 day, you pick 5, 7 if you are doing the week. And again the meals looked and sounded great. I am excited for the  crumbled chicken and roast beef, lasagna and even a chicken parmy.

But we all know that the packet looks way better then what we get. And what I imagine it will taste like is going to be very different.

I am truthfully excited to try this. To actually have a lunch already packed and healthy to take to work. To get home and not have to worry. I am concerned that I may love my Pepsi max and chocolate too much, but I will try.

See you on the lite side

My First Step

Many things cross ones mind when trying to find a weight loss tool. How convenient is it? Is it affordable enough? What does it really taste like? What do others think about it? And the big one, Was it worth it?

These all went through my mind when trying to find a way to loss weight. I did the shakes, they worked but I didn't learn anything. Tried the gym, had a personal trainer and everything but it didn't really work if your not eating right.

I currently weight a shocking 128kg, officially my heaviest and after searching for something, anything, I found liteneasy. I did the normal research, reading reviews, positive and negative comments on social media and the amazing weight loss stories.

What I found was missing was the depth of the program. They say it's convenient, but how convenient is it really? Do you get hungry or tired of the same food. This is a daily diary on liteneasy and my (hopefully) weight loss journey. And I wish that it will help others if they are looking for answers.
